I BLOG FOR FUN...

Feel free to pin photo's from this blog...I'm not one of those blogger's that will flip out and go on a rant about you "stealing" my photo's because you liked it enough to share it, lol. I am not a "professional decorator, cook, gardener" or "professional" anything else....I BLOG FOR FUN. Nope....not one of the perfect blogger's here. My house is not perfect, and you will never be led to believe it is. I simply cannot offer you "how-to's", nor will I leave comment's on your blog offering decorating advice...sorry. If you are one of the "professional blogger's" as I refer to so many of them these days, I simply am not interested in your invite to your linky parties...with YOUR strict instructions to follow YOUR rules, lol, in order to increase YOUR traffic. If your not here for enjoyment, then this simply isn't the blog for you.

Her first Christmas......

Well, she has been a long time in the making....a year and three months, I believe. There are a lot of blood, sweat and tears in this big pile of rock! These pics were taken with my phone, so they aren't the best.

Since she was so late being finished up.....I have started dressing her for Christmas.  I surely wanted her to be done in time for fall, but that will just have to wait until next year.....

There will be some more "dressing up" for the holidays. I was just ready to show her off.

It is hard to believe that she started out like this........

My husband is a genius....I appreciate him so much for all that he does to make dreams come true.

Just had to throw this picture in...she looked like this every time we worked on the fireplace..

  2. Teresa,
what a beautiful centerpiece for your deck! The stacked stone is gorgeous! You are gonna have so much fun relaxing in front of that amazing fireplace! You're lucky that when you were up here Sherry and I didn't take you and your husband captive, you to cook and craft and him to build fabulous things for us! Between the 2 of you I don't think there's anything you guys can't do!!

No Fall decorating here this year. Put my faux mums on table in courtyard and called it good.

  5. It's beautiful! I can imagine sitting there before a roaring fire with something to drink and just let the world roll by. We all need that peaceful, easy feeling right now with all that's going on in the world. You had an incredible "helper" ~ so adorable!

  6. Teresa, it's stunning! What a fun place to sit, light a fire and have a cup of coffee or glass of wine! This is such a beautiful focal point for your deck! You and your hubby are so talented! Sophie is a wonderful helper- so cute! Your Christmas decorations look lovely- so festive. I know you will enjoy entertaining here!

  7. Wow, it is beautiful, Teresa! My hubby used the stacked stone on our garden shed, so I know it's a lot of work but the outcome is worth the effort. I guess it's safe to say you have clay soil and Sophie can attest to that.....she looks so cute, but I bet she hated all the baths she got! You will have many happy times in front of a beautiful fire.
