Well, she has been a long time in the making....a year and three months, I believe. There are a lot of blood, sweat and tears in this big pile of rock! These pics were taken with my phone, so they aren't the best.
Since she was so late being finished up.....I have started dressing her for Christmas. I surely wanted her to be done in time for fall, but that will just have to wait until next year.....
There will be some more "dressing up" for the holidays. I was just ready to show her off.
It is hard to believe that she started out like this........
My husband is a genius....I appreciate him so much for all that he does to make dreams come true.

ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful! I can imagine sitting there before a roaring fire with something to drink and just let the world roll by. We all need that peaceful, easy feeling right now with all that's going on in the world. You had an incredible "helper" ~ so adorable!

Teresa, it's stunning! What a fun place to sit, light a fire and have a cup of coffee or glass of wine! This is such a beautiful focal point for your deck! You and your hubby are so talented! ReplyDeleteWow, it is beautiful, Teresa! My hubby used the stacked stone on our garden shed, so I know it's a lot of work but the outcome is worth the effort. I guess it's safe to say you have clay soil and Sophie can attest to that.....she looks so cute, but I bet she hated all the baths she got! You will have many happy times in front of a beautiful fire.
